Inspired by Northern Rhone reds, Durif Viognier is medium-bodied, textural, silky.
The 2010 vintage was Winemaker Rowly’s first experimentation with this wine style, with co-fermentation of Durif and Viognier resulting in a fine and aromatic wine with characters of cherry and plum.
A lifted nose of dried cranberries and red currants interwoven with delicate florals, followed by a fresh drive of red fruit on the palate. Lovely bright acidity persists for a wine of this age.
