Durif Redesigned

SATURDAY 10 AUGUST.

Spend time with one of Rutherglen's most contemporary winemakers for a deep-dive behind-the-scenes tasting as you explore the region's flagship red variety.

Winemaker Rowly applies a creative lens to his winemaking practice to craft dynamic wine styles. Since establishing Scion from bare earth two decades ago, discovering the nuances of place and seasonality within the world of viticulture has been pivotal to this process.

Rug up and join Rowly for a private tasting in Scion's barrel room to explore the outer reaches of Durif. This curated wine journey will feature elegant Durifs, experimental reds, Scion’s signature fortified and of course a few surprises. Plus local snacks.

Limited to just 12 guests, this exclusive tasting will also feature museum Durifs, with a rare opportunity to purchase back vintages.
