Syrah from one of (if not the) the premier producers of the Rutherglen region... So much freshness. Such fine grain to the tannin. Cherry-berried flavours with licks of coffee, sweet spice, earth and malt. Fresh fruit is the paramount concern here; it feels elegant and sophisticated and yet buoyant at the same time. So much cherried goodness. Such a new and excellent take on what we might expect of a red from Rutherglen.

Max Allen (Australian Financial Review) writes:

Milhinch is right: if you’re expecting a typically dense, ripe, mouth-filling Rutherglen shiraz, you’ll be disappointed. This is fabulously lean, nervy, spicy, savoury: lots of flavour, but oh-so-elegant.
