A medium-bodied, detailed and elegant red crafted to express a vision for Shiraz that is uncommon in Rutherglen. This winemaking style heroes red fruits, savoury notes, delicate spice and great length of flavour.
This release from a moderate vintage has great structure and length, with characters of red plum, morello cherries, earth, mushroom and dried sage.
The wine represents the renaissance of the historic Terravinia Vineyard: a tiny four acre site nestled into a north-facing slope overlooking Murray River flats in the Gooramadda sub-region of Rutherglen, 9km north-east of our estate vineyard.
