Our most ambitious Durif yet.

The 2024 vintage marks a new chapter for Scion Durif — the first release matured in a handcrafted concrete egg imported from France, alongside Foudre and new French oak.

Concrete brings texture without flavour. The result is a more composed and nuanced expression of Durif, with greater purity, site expression and tannin integration.

A strong vintage and limited production have only sharpened that focus.

Handpicked fruit from our estate vineyard, wild fermented in open concrete vats. Some whole berries and stems contribute floral lift, spice and complexity.

Bright, aromatic, earthy. Red fruits and spice.
